OOTD | Chloe Talks Beauty

Hello Lovelies, 

I've got a OOTD post for you all today.(I'ts very short and quick I'm sorry!) I went for a very casual look today as I wanted to just have a very chilled day and the weather was pretty rubbish! 

So my top is from New Look. It's actually from the men's section! Its a medium as I wanted to go for the baggy/over sized look. This cost me £4 in the sale.

My leggings are just from primark and they are pretty basic. They are size 8 but honestly are a bit small, but all sizes in Primark tend to be small. They probably cost me around £4 as well, I'm not too sure! 

My shoes are Nike Blazers and they cost me £20. I did get them second hand because I didn't really want to spend £40-£50 on a pair of shoes. (I'm weird like that) But you can't really tell they are second hand which is great! 

And that is basically my outfit for today!

How to get healthy hair (hair care routine) | Chloe Talks Beauty

Hello lovelies, 

Now my hair has not been in the best conditions over the years, ever since I started to dye it really, which was since I was about 12/13. I have only just got it in a good condition, sort of. 

It took time but its getting there and my hair is getting longer as well! I only use heat on hair once a week. I don't like to use too much because that will damage my hair even more. I will only use a hair dryer and have it on the lowest setting possible.

I let my hair dry naturally naturally at night, or towel dry most of it then pop it in a bun for work. I use either a wide tooth comb or a tangle teaser when its wet. I like to make sure that the conditioner is brushed through the ends when i'm in the shower, just to make sure its evenly spread out. 

Whereas shampoo and conditioner is concerned I don't use a special one, just the alberto balsam ones in the strawberry scent. This is just cheap and works for me but since I'm earning my own money now I am going to invest in the Lee Stafford hair growth treatment, just to help my hair grow the little bit more.

The last thing I do to help keep my hair healthy is get it cut regularly, I usually get my split ends sorted about every 2 months. This helps to just keep it looking fresh. I also done dye my hair very often anymore. Although I want to dye it red again soon but I'm still deciding on that at the moment!

Prom Trial at Boots | Chloe Talks Beauty

Hello lovelies! 

I had my prom trial today at the No7 counter in Boots. I want to start off by saying how lovely the girls were there! They really knew what they were doing and I felt safe in there hands! 

I'm not 100% sure on the products they used but it was all No7 (duh).

I really enjoyed someone else doing my make up for a change and I found it very relaxing. I wanted to keep my look natural and simple but now looking at it I will probably go for a more dramatic look on the day.

(I suffer from resting moody face haha)

My face at the moment is so dry so I will have to keep up to date on my moisturiser over the next week leading up to the big day. And I will be wearing false eyelashes as well but over all I'm really happy with the finally look!

Hope you have all had a lovely Saturday! Today I thought I would do the I heart Summer tag. 

Basically 12 questions all about summer, so lets begin!!

1. Favorite bronzer for summer?

I would have to say the Bourjois chocolate bronzer in the shade 51. Deffo a staple of mine during the hot season! 

2. You're relaxing in a hammock, on a tropical island. What are you sipping on? (Favorite summer drink)

ooh I would have to say a nice ice cold cherry cola!

3. Favorite summer lip product?

Rimmel London Apocalips in the shade Eclipse.

4. Pool or Beach?

I would have to say the beach because I can't really swim so the pool is a no no.

5. Summer = crazy hair! What's your must-have styling product?

Would have to be the 'Got To Be Beach Matt spray. Love love love it!!

6. Sun bathing or fake tan?

I like to sunbathe but never really tan so sometimes I take the risk of fake tanning but no very often as I'm always scared I will over do it!

7. Favorite summer nail polish?

 pistachio ice cream by MUA. Its such a lovely shade and I always make sure its on my nails in summer! 

8. Any summer traditions?

My nan will always take us to a theme park, she has done since I was about 4. Its a great way for the whole family to get together! 

9. Favorite summer scent?

oooh, I have no idea. I have too many to think of! But I would have to say the Pink Addiction perfume! Its so fruity and floral. 

10. Favorite BBQ food?

Just the classic Sasuage or burger because that's all the my mum is able to cook aha. I would have to say I prefer a good old burger though.

11. What's your favorite summer-proof product?

Water proof mascara!! No body wants to end up with panda eye half way through the day do they? 

12. Any summer vacation plans this year? No plans? Tell us about your dream summer trip!

I have no plans this year sadly :(. But my dream vacation would be a trip to LA! It may seem really cliché but I'm literally in love with America!

OOTD | Chloe Talks Beauty

I hope you've all had a great day!
I have an OOTD post for you today. This is for when its a bit chiller on the summer day.



Top:

 I went for a tank top from urban outfitters. This has to be one of my favourite items in my wardrobe because of the design. I find it really interesting and different. It has a shape/astronomy feel to it, which I've always been interested in.

I put a flannel top over the top, just to keep me a bit warmer because its quite chilly on today. I actually got this off Depop so I have no idea where it originally came from. This is a staple in my summer wardrobe because I can easily chuck it over my tank tops if I get chilly, or tie it round my waist.

I'm wearing basic Primark denim shorts. I don't see the need to splash out on £30 a pair when you can get the same quality for a quarter of the price. My tights are also from Primark but you can pick them up from anywhere. I think wearing tights when it is a bit chiller is a good idea because it keeps my legs from getting cold!

Lastly shoes!
I love these shoes and have been looking for some like these for ages now. I finally found them in New Look!! I realise they are probably not everybody's cup of tea but I fell in love. They have a small heel which is brilliant for me because I can't walk in heels to save my life! (I realised that when I fell down a whole flight of stairs the other week)


And thats my outfit for today! Its pretty basic but this is just what I like to throw on after school!

I know I've been the worse blogger in the world recently but that is because of exams :(. I've had to put so much time and effort into them, that everything else became not so important.
